Located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in Canada, Victoria is the perfect destination for vacationers looking for romance, culture, adventure, natural beauty, great cuisine and a relaxed lifestyle.
Victoria has a very British feel, both in terms of climate and character. Most people walk, bike or take carriages or water taxis to explore the Inner Harbour area. As you do, be sure to stop in all the quaint shops and restaurants to have a look around and to sample local fare with an international flair.
To reach Victoria, you’ll need to take a ferry from nearby Vancouver or hop a helicopter or floatplane. You can also take a bus or train to the island.
Once in Victoria, you can book a whale and wildlife watching cruise, kayak along the shoreline, have tea at the Empress, take a guided ghost tour through the city, shop in Chinatown, browse an open air market, visit the Royal BC Museum, tour the beautiful Butchart Gardens, hear a performance by the Victoria Chamber Orchestra and much more.
