I am writer whose poetry and short stories have been published here and abroad. I have degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of St Andrews, Scotland. At home in western Pennsylvania, I'm wife to Alexander (an environmental science teacher and
recipient of an Audubon Society grant) and mom to Nathaniel
James. My family enjoys working in our many gardens, taking the dogs for walks, cooking international foods, traveling, reading, watching Steeler football, and spending time at Camp N'at. We try to live as sustainably as possible in the house my late grandfather built with salvaged materials 60 years ago.
